Division A, also known as "Team Chess Cheetahs" is our try-out based competitive group. In that group, we go over advanced chess concepts, tactics, strategies, and more. 

 

This group is perfect for players with lots of chess experience looking to take the game to the competitive scene. 

Recommended elo: at least 1000 on chess.com

Time: Friday at 5:30pm

Division B is our intermediate-advanced division. In that group, we discover intermediate chess strategies, tactics, introduce openings, and more.

The average player participating in that division has been playing for around 1 year

Division C is our Beginner-Intermediate group. In classes, we uncover new intermediate chess concepts, and refine basic principles.

The average member in that division understands basic chess concepts such as forks, pins, and castling but does not understand much more than that.

Division D is our Newbie-Beginner group. We start the year by going over how to play, and learn the game as well as beginner concepts from scratch. This group is perfect for those who are just getting into chess
